Pho, Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup

>> Friday, October 16, 2009

It was Tuesday, not too cold but somewhat cloudy autumn day, a perfect day for Pho.
It was the kind of day that we would have cravings for
hot Vietnamese beef noodle soup, Pho.
Now that Pho has become so popular, every place we go,
we can easily find a Vietnamese restaurant that does pho.

Since we left Maryland, we haven't really found one
that makes good authentic and not-so-greasy pho at a  reasonable price.
I got online and did some research and found Lemongrass Bistro.
It had very good reviews.
But it was yet to be judged by Pho specialist John according to his taste-bud.

Well, it was a little bit pricy. $8.95.
Unlike most of the Pho places, they did not have the whole list of
pho soup with differet kinds of meat toppings.

To me, soup had relatively clean taste and had good amount of noodle.
John liked it,too.
We would definitely go back to Lemongrass when we have cravings for Pho soup.
Personally, I liked the fact that it was a clean restaurant.
They had other Vietnamese dishes that smelled so good.

After we had Pho soup for our lunch, we headed to Garden of the Gods.
