In and Out Burger

>> Wednesday, October 19, 2011

Well, finally I got to taste In and Out Burger, because we have relocated recently to California.
But unfortunately, we don't have one in our town.
So, it has become a treat for us since we have to travel some distance to find In and Out Burger place.

On our recent(in August) rare trip to outlet mall with both J and J, our consensus for what to eat for lunch was unanimous. The In and Out Burger.
But, the place is always packed and a long line is expected.

Unlike where we live, about 40 minutes drive take us to a warmer and sunny place like Gilroy.

Even outside tables are pretty much occupied.
Simple menu and Cheap price. I love it!

The workers wear white uniform with red apron.
Though the place was packed and the line was long, the line moved fast. Truly in and out.
But finding the table is not that fast.

In and Burger is not a franchise, but a family business. They boast their freshest ingredients: fresh beef, fresh vegetables. Their hamburger buns are made without preservatives.

Scripture verses on their packaging is also famous. I do not know the exact background of this.

I remember in 70's when Big Mac was 99 cents.
Back then, to me nothing tasted so good like Big Mac.
Gradually I acquired the taste of Burger King as well, and began to believe that Burger King tastes even better. However, as I got older, I began to lose my taste pellet for fast food completely,
especially the burgers.
My choice of lunch when we are on the road is always Subway sandwiches.
Now I have one more choice for a quick grab when we are on the road in California.
I know they have branched out to some other states as well.

In and Out Burger brought back memories of those days when I used to enjoy eating Big Macs with my parents. And I don't think I will mind eating fast food burgers once in a while as long as
 it's In and Out Burgers.
