Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park

Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park,
located just south of Felton on Highway 9, was worth the visit.
The Redwoods Grove Trail is about a mile and it smells great in there.
On the trail is the largest tree in the park at 285 feet tall and 16 feet wide.
The oldest trees in the park are somewhere between 1400 to 1800 years old.

It was an excellent short excursion admiring the beauty of the nature.

More than 2,200 years ago, this tree began to grow.
It was harvested in 1934.
The labels on the rings show what was happening in the world.
